Modern CNC machines have the capability to synchronize spindle rotation with feed motion for a specific thread pitch. Although synchronized tapping cycles are highly precise, they do not eliminate discrepancies between the machine’s feed and the tap’s pitch. These differences generate significant forces on the tap’s cutting edges, negatively affecting both tool life and thread quality.

The MasterSYNC holder helps avoid these issues and also protects the tool during rapid spindle reversal, preventing the tap from being pulled out.

The holder provides a minimum compression and extension compensation of +/- 0,5 mm.
